This 3-episode documentary is about China's poverty alleviation. It is the first documentary presented by ASEAN mainstream media that gives an interpretation of China's targeted poverty alleviation policy. From planning and shooting, to broadcasting, the four media organizations of Guangxi Radio and Television, Lao National Television, National Television of Cambodia and National Broadcasting Services of Thailand worked together to complete the project in one and a half years. It provides external perspectives of observing and interpreting China's poverty alleviation plan.

Reporters from Laos, Cambodia and Thailand made their trip to remote villages in China to witness frontline poverty alleviation work and interviewed people lifted out of poverty and the leaders of the poverty alleviation program.
