China has urged the director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) not to be used as a political tool and endorse the nuclear proliferation practices by the United States, Britain and Australia. On September 13, Chinese envoy to United Nations and other International Organizations in Vienna, Wang Qun called on the three countries to stop nuclear proliferation practices, and on the director-general to make a fair and objective report on the issues.
