Flights canceled in Shanghai as Typhoon Muifa approaches

Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao Airport canceled all passenger flights on Wednesday afternoon due to the approaching Typhoon Muifa.

Muifa is expected to make landfall on the coast of neighboring Zhejiang Province on Wednesday afternoon and affect Shanghai on early Thursday morning, according to the Zhejiang Meteorological Bureau.
