Boston police are investigating an incident at Northeastern University on Tuesday evening in which a package delivered to a building detonated when it was opened, injuring at least one person, Fox News reported.

Northeastern University said the package was delivered to Holmes Hall on Leon Street around 7 p.m. local time and detonated when a staff member opened it. That person, a 45-year-old man, suffered minor hand injuries and was taken to the hospital.

A second similar package was also found amid the investigation and rendered safe by the bomb squad, Boston police later confirmed at a presser Tuesday night.

The building was evacuated as a precaution.
