Ukraine receives 500 million euros assistance from EIB

The European Investment Bank (EIB) said on Thursday that its first payments of 500 million euros (about $499 million) have reached Ukraine to address the country's most urgent needs.

These funds are part of the second 1.59-billion-euro package of the EIB's Ukraine Solidarity Urgent Response developed in close cooperation with the European Commission.
