The Tongmenghui is one of China's earliest political groups with modern values. It led the Xinhai Revolution in 1911 and overthrew the Qing Dynasty. Its founder Dr. Sun Yat-sen had high hopes for rejuvenating China, but his dreams didn't get a real start at that time.
