China's space-tracking ship, Yuanwang-5, on Monday morning returned to its home port in eastern Jiangsu Province after finishing two maritime measurement and control tasks on its 69-day voyage.
The vessel monitored the Wentian lab module and the Yaogan-33 02 remote sensing satellite, sailing more than 14,000 nautical miles in order to do so.

Thanks to the crew's joint efforts, the ship overcame various difficulties due to bad weather and complex oceanic conditions during the long voyage.
Independently designed and built by China and serving as a vital link in the maritime measurement network, Yuanwang-5 has worked at sea for more than 110 days this year.
During its stay at the home port, the ship will be restocked with supplies and materials and undergo equipment maintenance and overhaul for future missions.
