Japan will further ease COVID-19 border control measures from October 11, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said at a press conference on Thursday, according to Kyodo news agency.

He added that the limit on the number of 50,000 people entering the country per day will be removed and individual travel will be resumed.
