Today marks the 5th Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival. The festival falls on the Autumn Equinox, the 16th of the 24 traditional Chinese solar terms. The festival was initiated to strengthen the role of agriculture and rural areas and improve the sense of gain and happiness among farmers. In face of the ongoing Ukraine conflict and climate change, the world has been seeing a rising food crisis.

We spoke to Liu Baocheng, dean of the Center for International Business Ethics at the University of International Business and Economics, to find out China's role in tackling this global problem.
