Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, discussing issues on peace, security, climate change and biodiversity protection, according to a UN press release. The secretary-general thanked China for its contributions to the UN, and expressed a desire to strengthen cooperation with China in all pillars of UN activity including peace, security, development and human rights.
