Guterres: 4.3m tonnes of food exported to 29 countries under deal

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Twitter on Saturday that over 4.3 million tonnes of food have been exported to 29 countries since the signing of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

Food prices have dropped sharply but are still almost 8 percent higher than last year, Guterres said, adding shipments must increase so commodity markets can further stabilize.
