Russian President Vladimir Putin signed laws related to partial mobilization in Russia, including a punishment of up to 10 years in prison for voluntary surrender, RIA reported on Saturday.

Putin also signed a law on imprisonment for up to 10 years for desertion and non-appearance of military personnel for conscription service, and approved the simplified acquisition of citizenship for foreigners serving in the Russian army.
