Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Equatorial Guinean Foreign Minister Simeon Oyono Esono Angue on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 24. 

Under the leadership of the two countries' presidents, the two sides have developed a robust relationship that serves as an example of equality, friendship, and mutual support, Wang said. China will enhance strategic exchanges with Equatorial Guinea to benefit both peoples as the traditional friendship grows.
