Truss to review visa schemes to alleviate UK labor shortages

British Prime Minister Liz Truss will conduct a major review of Britain's visa system to address the serious labor shortages in key industries, Financial Times reported on Sunday.

The prime minister is set to revise the "shortage occupation list" to allow certain industries to bring in more staff from overseas, such as broadband engineers.
