Chinese FM Wang Yi emphasized China's support for the United Nations during a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the General Assembly session. Wang said China will stand firmly with the UN and unswervingly support the UN's central role in international affairs. Guterres praised China's support of multilateralism and said the partnership with Beijing is an important pillar of the organization.
