France to stop giving fossil fuel export guarantees from 2023

France will stop giving fossil fuel export guarantees from next year, said French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire on Monday.

"France will give no more export guarantees for any fossil fuel projects from exploration to refining and including transport," Le Maire said as he presented the bill.
