In the northwest of Diebu County, Gansu Province lies a small village deep in the mountains. The remote and sparsely populated area is famous at home and abroad.

Back in the 1920s, famous explorer Joseph Rock once visited the place. He found himself mesmerized by the unique natural landscape. He wrote in his diary, "I have never seen such a magnificent view in my life. If the author of Genesis had been to Diebu, he would have chosen it as the birthplace of Adam and Eve."

Highly recommended by Rock, Zhagana, which means stone box in Tibetan, became known to the world.
