Zhelin Lake, also known as the West Sea of Lushan Mountain, is located in the northern part of Jiangxi Province and, as the name suggests, sits on the western side of Lushan Mountain.

A breathtaking spot, Zhelin Lake was designated as one of the country's 5A-rated tourist attractions by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2020.

Dotted with 1,667 islands sized over 0.2 hectares, the West Sea scenic area boasts numerous historical and picturesque sites, among which are the Huangjing Waterfall, celestial burial tombs, stone carvings made by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) during his tour to the south, and the ancient cultural relics of the King of Wu in the Three Kingdoms period (220-280).
