The British government on Monday imposed new sanctions against Russia in response to the referendum held in Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Top Russian officials involved in enforcing the votes, as well as individuals and board executives from major state-owned banks, are on the renewed sanction list.
