Located in Luqu County, northwest China's Gansu Province, Gahai Lake is located at an elevation of 3,400 meters amidst the Gahai Grassland. It is an important wetland in the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and a crucial water source on the upper reaches of the Yellow River.
