Airshow China 2022: City of Zhuhai to host annual event in November

The city of Zhuhai in south China's Guangdong Province is getting ready to host the 14th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition. The annual event will kick off on November 8, showcasing the country's latest achievements in aerospace technology. Zheng Yibing has the details.

This year's Airshow China in Zhuhai will be larger than ever, with many new equipment and models to be shown to the public.

HUANG ZHIHAO Mayor of Zhuahai "A series of new aviation and aerospace products will be presented for the first time. They include a full-scale model of China's space station, as well as carrier rockets, satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles."

The show will also include special exhibitions about China's lunar mission and its future explorations.

DENG HONGBING Deputy General Manager China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation "Besides Long-March 2F and 5B heavy-lift carrier rockets, we will also show for the first time our manned moon-landing rocket."

Visitors will be able to see more than 40 new scientific and technological achievements. Among them will be over 100 types of aircraft, like the new YY-20 aerial refuelling plane and the AG600M amphibious firefighting aircraft. There will also be aerobatic air show performed by the PLA Air Force.

More than 740 enterprises from over 40 countries will participate in the air show and attend various seminars and exhibitions.
