Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy and discussed the Russia-Ukraine conflict, according to the Turkish presidency on Wednesday.

Erdogan expressed his satisfaction with the successful conclusion of the prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine and reiterated the mediation proposal for the establishment of a demilitarized zone around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant.
