Iraqi parliament renewed confidence in parliamentary speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi after he submitted his resignation to the chamber, Iraqi News Agency said on Wednesday. 

Among all the 235 voters, 222 voted against the resignation.

Three Katyusha rockets landed in Baghdad's fortified Green Zone while a parliament session was being convened, the news agency also reported on the same day. 

Four security personnel were injured.
