Zhelin Lake, also known as the West Sea of Lushan Mountain, is located in the northern part of Jiangxi Province and, as the name suggests, sits on the western side of Lushan Mountain. Zhelin Lake was designated as one of the country's 5A-rated tourist attractions by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2020. Dotted with 1,667 islands sized over 0.2 hectares, the West Sea scenic area boasts numerous historical and picturesque sites.

CGTN launched "The Great Rivers of China" series, introducing the seven major water systems in China from the perspectives of natural geography, local customs, and significance to the social and economic development of the regions along their routes. The Yellow, Yangtze, Songhua, Haihe, Huaihe, Pearl and Lancang rivers will be featured.
