Martin Jacques, a former senior fellow at the Department of Politics and International Studies at Cambridge University, told CGTN's Tian Wei that Hong Kong does need a different approach, because the world has changed so profoundly, especially the Chinese mainland (in the north). Many Hong Kongers think westwards, but not northwards, he said.
