Ugandan farmers triple yields with support from China

In Uganda, over 3,000 farmers have tripled their yields and improved their household incomes, after they acquired skills in growing hybrid cereal varieties from China. The project with the Ugandan government began in 2012, under the FAO-China South-South Cooperation Trust Fund. It has now entered its third phase.
