First Vice President of the Russia-China Friendship Association Garina Kulikova shared her views on China's development achievements in the last 10 years, saying they have impressed the whole world. She believes the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will be an event of historic importance, and will contribute greatly to achieving the tasks outlined at the 18th CPC National Congress. China accomplished its first centenary goal. No other country could have lifted more than 100 million people from poverty within such a short time, or reached the goal of average prosperity, she said. China's success is due to the skillful leadership of the CPC, which has become the mind and brain of the nation.
