China has the world's longest high speed rail network, reaching over 40,000 kilometers with some newly built lines with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. That length can circle the entire equator and fast. And the country is exporting its high speed rail technology to other countries. The world's first international standard for high-speed railway construction, published by the International Union of Railways, was drafted by China.
