CGTN's "Along China's Great Rivers" series introduces the country's seven major waterways – the Yellow (Huanghe), Yangtze (Changjiang), Songhua, Haihe, Huaihe, Pearl (Zhujiang) and Lancang rivers – from the perspectives of natural geography, local customs and significance to socioeconomic development. This livestream focuses on the Xijiang River, the western tributary of the Pearl River. It supplies water to many places in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangdong Province and Macao Special Administrative Region.
