Russia has accused the U.S. of benefiting from the Nord Stream pipeline leaks, but stopped short of blaming Washington for the explosions. Major leaks have erupted this week on the pipelines, which run from Russia to Europe. Russian Ambassador to the UN Vassily Nebenzia on Friday told the UN Security Council that the U.S. has much to gain in gas trade from the damage. U.S. Deputy Representative to the UN Richard Mills rejected the assertion, saying Washington categorically denies any involvement. Geng Shuang, China's deputy permanent representative to the UN, said China is deeply concerned about the leaks.
