Ukraine claims encircle of around 5,000 Russian forces in Lyman

Ukraine has encircled around 5,000 Russian soldiers around a bastion critical for Moscow at the eastern town of Lyman in an operation that is still underway, Serhii Cherevatyi, spokesperson for Ukraine's eastern forces, said on Saturday.
The Russian side did not immediately comment on the report.
