Landmark buildings in many countries put on "China red" to mark the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. In Islamabad, capital of Pakistan, a light show was staged in the front of the iconic Pakistan Monument to celebrate China's National Day. The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, displayed the pattern of China's national flag during a splendid light show. The Millennium Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge that spans the Moraca river in Podgorica, capital of Montenegro, was also lit up in red to mark China's National Day.
