Rabea Glotz from Germany is a children's book writer. In 2019, she and her husband came to Shenyang in northeast China's Liaoning Province, along with their four children. Her love for the land prompted her to write about her cross-cultural encounters in China. In 2020, she published "Chinese New Year" in Chinese, English and German. It's the first book in her children's series "Basti: Living as an expat dog", which explores the adventures of a puppy from Germany who meets the zodiac pig in China.
