A motorist encountered a rare snow leopard in southwest China. A man surnamed Zhou recorded a snow leopard running along a road in Ngari Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, on September 28. According to the World Wildlife Fund, an estimated 4,080-6,590 snow leopards are left in the wild, and they are listed as "vulnerable" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
