Ukraine shipped 77,400 tons of foodstuffs through its seaports on Monday, bringing the total exports under a key grain deal signed in July to 5.9 million tons, the country's Infrastructure Ministry said.

A total of 261 vessels had left the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny since August 1, when the deal took effect, the ministry said on Facebook.

Ukraine and Russia separately signed a deal with Türkiye and the United Nations in Istanbul on July 22 to resume food and fertilizer shipments from Ukrainian ports to international markets via the Black Sea.
