The Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the Swedish ambassador to Ankara over "insulting contents" about Türkiye and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan aired on Swedish state TV, Anadolu news agency reported Wednesday.

Ambassador Staffan Herrstrom was told that the "impertinent and ugly expression and images" about Erdogan and Türkiye were unacceptable, Anadolu said.
