Envoy: China committed to resolving Korean Peninsula issue through dialogue

Dialogue and consultation are the only correct ways out of the Korean Peninsula issue, Geng Shuang, China's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, said on Wednesday at a Security Council meeting over the launch of a ballistic missile by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Relevant parties should bear in mind the overall interests of peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and prevent escalation of the situation, Geng added.
