The test flight crew of the C919, China's first homemade large jetliner, succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of the crucial testing process during the plane's years-long development stage. The plane conducted its successful maiden flight in 2017. In the following five years, the C919 did six test flights in different locations to test its capabilities. During test flights, the crew must analyze and process every parameter of the C919. The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, the C919's developer, received a certificate from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) indicating that the C919's design meets airworthiness standards and environmental requirements.
