At least seven people were killed and another injured on Friday after a fire broke out in a residential plaza in Faisalabad City of Pakistan's eastern Punjab Province, rescue workers said.
The accident took place in the upper story of the building in the Karkhana bazar area of the city due to a short circuit. According to rescue workers, about 34 people were residing in the building.
The deceased included two boys and two girls. Another girl went missing and search operation is underway.
