China swept Chinese Taipei 3-0 in the World Team Table Tennis Championships Women's semifinals in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Friday to reach the final of the tournament.
Sun Yingsha, Chen Meng and Wang Manyu all defeated their opponents without allowing a single game to slip away in three matches.

Sun beat Chen Szu-yu 11-9, 11-1, 11-4 in the first match. Chen Szu-yu was only able to cause some trouble for Sun in the first game but Sun scored multiple key plays by changing the line quickly before sealing the game with a serve in the end.
Chen Meng prevailed over Li Yu-jhun as well (12-10, 11-8, 11-6). The first game was the closest of all three. Chen Meng's continuous blunders at the beginning of the game enabled Li to lead during most time of the competition. Chen tied the score twice (6-6 and 10-10) and then scored two straight plays with backhand attacks.

Wang defeated Liu Hsing-yin 11-3, 11-5, 11-9 in the third match. Compared with the first two quick losses, Liu had some hard resistance in the final game. The two players tied twice at 4-4 and 6-6. After that, Wang kept the opponent on the run with excellent pulling of the ball before winning this game and claiming a final berth for China.
China will meet the winner between Japan and Germany in the final on Saturday.
