Guangnan Village, located in Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County of northern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a beautiful village inhabited by Dong ethnic minority. Surrounded by mountains, Guangnan Village has a long history of traditional wooden structures reflecting the Dong ethnic culture. Also, the Grass Dragon and Lion Dance in Guangnan Village is a traditional Dong folk custom listed as an intangible cultural heritage in Guangxi in 2012.
In recent years, the local government's efforts for rural revitalization have made a big difference in their lives. The government has excavated the cultural resources of the Dong people, accelerated the construction of characteristic villages, and broadened the means of income for the local people.
