'Golden Week' holiday saw over 255 million passenger trips across China

China's National Day holiday has come to an end, as millions of travelers return, and the working week starts again. Preliminary statistics show more than 255 million passenger trips were made from October 1 to the 7. During the holiday, nearly 200 million road trips were registered. Railway travel peaked on the first day of the holiday, with over 9.7 million trips. And as many as 4.6 million journeys via China's waterways.
