On October 7, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Energy Committee Igor Ananskikh was interviewed by CGTN correspondent Evgenia Strygina on the EU's eighth package of sanctions against Russia. Ananskikh said, "All these sanctions against Russia will lead to a severe decline in European living standards".
