Travel across the Crimean Bridge will be blocked until October 31, Russia's RIA news agency reported, after a blast destroyed a truck and heavily damaged the vital infrastructure.

In light of the event, ferry service across the Kerch Strait is resuming operation, RIA added.  

According to Russian media reports, stocks of essential goods in the Crimea will last for almost two months, and fuel reserves will last for 15 days. Repairing the bridge is currently a top priority.
