Young Chinese musician A Bu bridges classical music and jazz

Born in 1999, A Bu is a prominent pianist and composer in the international jazz scene. He won the Jury's first prize and the Audience Choice at the Montreux Jazz Piano Solo Competition in Switzerland at the age of 15. Over the past five years, he has collaborated with accomplished musicians in a number of globally renowned concert halls. The Vibe met up with A Bu to learn more about his musical journey, spanning classical and jazz, East and West.
