All classes in Ukraine switched to distance learning until Friday, the country's education ministry said on Monday after explosions hit several cities across Ukraine.

The city of Lviv in western Ukraine was hit with electricity and hot water cuts after bombardments that targeted critical infrastructure, including energy facilities, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said Monday.

Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Telegram: "As of 11:00 a.m., 11 important infrastructure facilities in eight regions and the city of Kyiv were damaged."
