China's rural areas are reaping bumper harvests with agro-tech machines, rumbling and weaving through vast fields, collecting gains and yields.
Among some 837,500 hectares of paddy rice planted in northeast China's Jilin Province, some 1,200 hectares of high-quality organic rice in Dahuangdi Village, Jilin City, have ripened for harvesting.
"I'm very happy that my hard work produced rich results this year. We planted organic paddy rice with a yield of some 6,500 kilograms per hectare in previous years, and the yield this year increased to some 7,500 kilograms per hectare," said Qiao Mingru, a Dahuangdi villager.
