China's major soybean production regions have entered harvest season. Heihe City in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province has the largest area under cultivation among prefecture-level cities. This year, the planting area reached 1,046,200 hectares. In Jalaid Banner of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, local experimental fields have set a new record yield of more than 4,500 kilograms per hectare.
