Bilateral ties between China and Germany have made significant progress in the last 50 years, with the cooperation extending to more sectors. Liu Zhiqin, a senior research fellow at the Chongyang Institute of Finance of the Renmin University of China, believes that it is necessary for both sides to build trust and confidence and further improve bilateral trade and investment.
