Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday met with President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in St. Petersburg.
Russia and the UAE are actively working within the framework of OPEC+ to create stability in the world energy markets, and the decisions of the association's countries are not directed against anyone, Putin said.
Putin also stressed that it was important for him to discuss issues related to the situation in Syria with the UAE president.
